I usually add garlic powder to a tablespoon of oil , spread it on a plate and press a slice of bread on it both sides and toast it/bake in an oven for 5-7 minutes depending upon how crispier i want it. I even add Oregano, red pepper flakes after I take it out. You can sprinkle jeera if you want before baking and it tastes good.
One more idea is to get puffed rice(marmaralu) from an indian store and add chopped onions, tomato, coriander/cilantro, lime juice, with salt, jeera, and red pepper powder. It helps not to fill your stomach before dinner and also is a quick snack.
I saw a friend of mine doing this, she adds butermilk/water to gram flour(besan) and adds chopped cilantro, onion, jeera, salt and red pepper to spread as vegetarian version of omlete. |
